Yes, It Is Possible To Do A Auto Paint Touch Up For Vinyl, Rigid, Flexible Substrates, Carpet, And Velour
All Auto Paints announces it's One Year Anniversary by partnering with Sem Products. This partnership brings the ability for the consumer to repair interior and exterior vinyl, rigid, flexible surfaces, that also can include carpet and velor. Making it possible for the do-it-yourselfer to do a repair.
Carson City, NV (PRWEB) - Sem Automotive and All Auto Paints is devoted to helping solve problems with three families of products, with superior resins that provide greater adhesion, long lasting finishes on multiple surfaces.
Aerosol can touch up and repair is becoming a way of fixing a paint problem for the Do-it-Yourselfer.
Sem has provided three ready-to-spray products. Color Coat, Sure Coat, and Classic Coat. These products are high-hiding, flexible coatings that do not get brittle with age.
Color Coat is industry standard for plastic, vinyl, carpet, and velour restorations. It is fade resistant, flexible, and provides a permanent coating while maintaining the texture of the surface to be coated. Color Coat aerosols are available in 50 colors. These colors can be seen at http://www.allautopaints.com.
Sure Coat offers excellent flexibility, outstanding adhesion for leather, vinyl, and plastic.
Classic Coat aerosols use advanced technology to provide superior adhesion and flexibility on most leather and vinyl.
Tech Tips: When flexible and rigid plastic are to be sprayed, clean first with hot water and soap. Wipe with Sem Plastic & Leather Prep, using a lint free towel, wiping in one direction. Rinse with hot water and soap. Repeat until surface stops beading up.
To promote adhesion on problem plastic (ABS or PVC) apply a medium wet coat of Sem Sand Free. Avoid applying the first coat of Color Coat too heavy, as sagging may occur.
To promote adhesion on other problem plastics (TPO, EPDM, and PP) use Sem Plastic Adhesion Promoter.
Dying carpets is a very easy process. Clean carpet with a good quality cleaner, like Simple Green. Allow to dry. Then use Sem Plastic & Leather Prep, scrub lightly with nylon bristle brush to remove any oil, grease, or other contaminates. Allow to dry, then vacuum. Make sure surface is dry before applying Color Coat. Apply two light coats of color; allow 3-5 minutes to flash between coats. Immediately after each coat, brush in all directions with a nylon brush. These tech tips will help do a number of spray can repairs on a variety of surfaces.
